The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with traditional Japanese elements that made me feel like I was truly experiencing Kyoto's beauty. The lobby had a lovely view of the natural surroundings, and it was a joy to sit and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for me. The staff kindly assisted me with my luggage and ensured that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be to have handrails in the hallways and staircases. This would provide some extra support and prevent any potential accidents.

During my stay at the Rinn Heian Shirakawa, I was incredibly impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. They were extremely responsive and helpful, providing advice on nearby attractions and even extending my stay when needed. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the surrounding gardens and mountains. The location couldn't have been better, with a picturesque canal just steps away and a delightful stroll through temples and shrines nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding customer service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic location.

Friendly Staff and Comfortable Room
The staff at this hotel were amazing! They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was also very comfortable, with everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and the city center. I especially liked the laundry facilities, which made it easy to keep my clothes clean during my stay. I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
While there were a lot of things I liked about this hotel, there were a couple of things that I didn't like quite as much. Specifically, I wish there had been a continental breakfast available, or at least some nearby breakfast spots that opened early.

During our romantic escape at this hotel, we enjoyed the comfortable and spacious room that we were provided. the amenities were impressive, particularly the electric kettle and fridge that were welcomed additions. the location was very much convenient since the hotel was just a short walk from the metro station, providing quick and easy access to the city's attractions.
The bed, which was a bit soft and not very comfortable. For the most part, it was a great stay with only a minor inconvenience.

Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience. the location was superb, with the subway station just a few steps away. the surrounding area was peaceful and the canal nearby added to the serene atmosphere. the room was comfortable and cozy with modern bathroom facilities. the staff was amazing, always courteous and professional, they even provided extra hangers upon request. the HANDY smart phone in each room is a thoughtful gesture for first-time visitors seeking directions.
I wish the hotel offered a more diverse breakfast selection.

The rooms on the top floor at Rinn Heian Shirakawa are absolutely beautiful! The design is so luxurious and you can even see the greenery from the balcony. It feels like you're in a peaceful oasis. As a family, we really enjoyed the spacious twin rooms with a tatami space to relax and unwind. It added a traditional touch to our stay.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bathing area in our room. But hey, that's just my opinion!
